Parsnips are closely related to the carrot, but with a distinct white flesh and bitter taste, with its flavour becoming more pronounced once cooked. Parsnips can be roasted or used to flavour soups and casseroles.
Parsnips are a good source of vitamin C and K, dietary fibre, folate and potassium. In addition, parsnips also supply many antioxidants that help boost the immune system.
