Easy, Peasy Stewing

Ingredients
- 2 organic apples, peeled, halved, cored, and sliced
- Coarse salt
- 3/4 cup unsweetened apple juice
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed organic lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Ground nutmeg
Method
Step 1
Melt 1 tablespoon butter over a medium heat. One melted add your apples with a pinch of salt. Stay close by to stir occasionally until the apples reach a light golden colour.
Step 2
Add apple juice, lemon juice, cinnamon, and pinch of nutmeg and cook until the liquid has reduced by half and apples are just tender. Remove from heat.
Step 3
Stir through about 1/2 a tablespoon butter.
