I Scream For Icecream (No Churn Recipe)
- 1 kg strawberries, must be ripe and organic (for best flavour ), hulled and halved
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 395g sweetened condensed milk
- 500 ml full fat cream
Halve strawberries, lay on baking paper and sprinkle with sugar. Roast in the oven at 160 degrees on a low heat for 1 hour.
Scrape strawberries into a food processor and blitz. Set aside to cool.
Once cooled whip with condensed milk and vanilla together. Set aside.
In a seperate bowl whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the strawberry and cream mixture together. One combined pop in the freezer until firm (about 12 hours).
